On July 30th 2025, Maxicare Children Hospital launched a humanitarian mission led by our Chairwoman, Dr. Khoun Lida. Our team of five traveled 405 km to the Kralanh District in Siem Reap Province to provide urgent aid to children across four refugee camps.
On the same day, our team provided essential support to families in need:
Pediatric Health Kits: We distributed kits containing digital thermometer, over-the-counter (OTC) pediatric syrup medications, towels, soap, and Nutritional products.
Clinical Care & Education: Our Pediatric and Neonatology specialist, Dr. Peou Chanratha, provided health education to parents and conducted health screenings for newborns and infants to ensure they are growing healthily.
Medical Donations: We donated several boxes of pediatric syrup medications to public health authorities through the District Governor’s Office to support ongoing care for the community.
Gratitude to Frontline Staff: We provided "thank you" gifts to the public health staff and first responders who are working hard to provide first aid at the camps.

Honoring Our Heroes
On our journey back to Phnom Penh on July 31st, we stopped to pay our respects to the family of a frontline soldier who sacrificed his life to protect our nation’s sovereignty. We happened to pass by the funeral ceremony and offered monetary gifts and our deepest condolences to honor his sacrifice.
While it was heartbreaking to see newborns and families living in such difficult conditions, we pray and hope for the day when all our people can return home in peace and safety.

A Collective Effort of Care
This mission was made possible by the generosity of our management, staff, customers, and suppliers. We also want to thank the District Governor’s staff for their excellent coordination and teamwork allowed us to visit all four camps in just one day.
