Maxicare Children Hospital was founded in early 2018 by Dr. Van Sokchea, Dr. Un You, and Dr. Prok Vichetra. As of January 2022, Maxicare Children Hospital is officially registered with the Ministry of Commerce (MoC), the Ministry of Health (MoH), the Department of Taxation, and the Ministry of Labour (MoL). Our vision is to become a leading private children's hospital in Cambodia, with a mission to improve health and well-being for parents in need. Our slogan is "We Care for Your Child with Our Skills and Heart".
In 2023, Maxicare became the first Children's Hospital in Cambodia to be officially recognized by the MoH, strengthening its reputation as a leading provider of specialized pediatric healthcare in Phnom Penh. The hospital has since achieved significant accolades as one of the best children hospitals in Cambodia, delivering high-quality pediatric care, child growth and development services, pediatric emergency treatment, vaccination programs, surgical services and advanced healthcare services for children and families across Cambodia.
